Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC, is seeking a full-time Clinical Pharmacist to join our Outpatient team.
Role Summary: The clinical pharmacist is responsible for the safe, effective, evidence-based, and cost-effective selection and utilization of medications for the patients in which they serve. The clinical pharmacist uses advanced knowledge, skills, and professional judgment in all aspects of his or her work. Adherence to all regulatory and medication safety guidelines are at the forefront of all actions and decisions made within the practice of the clinical pharmacist. The pharmacist works closely with clinic leadership, physicians and caregivers within the clinic to ensure the best patient outcomes.
