Job Summary: Supports hospital by being responsible for early detection activities of community-acquired illnesses of Public Health importance including those related to bioterrorism, insuring compliance with the guidelines and standards of the JCAHO and other regulatory agencies, and facilitating the process of reducing risks of endemic & epidemic infections in the community.
Required Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, Microbiology, related Allied Health field
Required Experience: At least 5 years experience performing clinical duties in a hospital setting and two years of Infection Control experience or in Public Health Epidemiology
