Role Summary: Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients throughout the Endoscopy Unit (preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative) areas. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions. Coordinates the daily procedural schedule, staffing schedule, and participates in leadership duties delagated by manager.
Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Required License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. Compact license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON; previous or current ACLS & PALS certification
Preferred License: CGRN or CPAN Certification, certification is required after two years if not in possession upon hire.
Required Experience: Minimum 2 year Endoscopy or OR experience, with Phase I PACU experience
Preferred Experience: Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
