Mission Hospital is a Level 2 Trauma Center and the ONLY trauma center for 19 counties in Western North Carolina. We have 6 Emergency Departments in our health system with a robust inter-facility and intra-facility patient transport network that include both ground and air EMS transport (two helicopters). Our Asheville Emergency Department has 94 beds where we see about 300 patients a day as a comprehensive Stroke Center and Top 50 Cardiovascular hospital in the nation. Job Summary: The clinical coordinator will develop, implement and manage the performance improvement program for Mission Hospitals Level II Trauma Center. Facilitates the trauma program development and monitors the Trauma Center's compliance with state standard of trauma care.
Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Preferred Education: Masters Degree in Nursing, or related field
Required License: Must have and maintain licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
Preferred License: None
Required Experience: Three years clinical experience.
Preferred Experience: Ability to work with spreadsheets and databases.
