This is a full time, night (7p-7a) position.

Role Summary: Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions.
Required Education: Diploma in Nursing, Associate's Degree in Nursing, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Required License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. Compact license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON; BCLS
Preferred License: National Certification in area
Required Experience: One year acute care experience
Preferred Experience: One-year hospital experience
Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital
CarePartners Rehabilitation Hospital is an 80-bed inpatient facility for acute rehabilitation. A regional referral center, we offer rehabilitation programs for a multitude of illnesses, injuries and conditions, from stroke to traumatic brain injury to amputation and spinal cord injury. Staffed with 24/7 nursing care, patients receive an average of 3 hours of intesive therapy daily throughout their stay.
Homecare- Most of our hospice patients receive hospice care in the place they call home – their own home, a nursing home or an assisted living facility. The hospice homecare census averages between 250-300 patients, with care provided by teams that include MD, Nurses, CNA’s, Chaplain, Social Worker and volunteers.
Solace inpatient- For those patients who are admitted to the Hospice program but cannot remain at home, the CarePartners Hospice Solace Center is an adult and pediatric inpatient facility on our main campus that provides acute symptom management and end-of-life care through an interdisciplinary team approach. Solace patients often receive IV or subcutaneous medications to treat acute symptoms and provide comfort.
