Pharmacy Tech Medication History Job Summary:
The Medication History Pharmacy Technician performs medication histories for new hospital admission. Under general supervision of the clinical pharmacist:
Required Education: High school graduate or GED
Required Experience: 2+ years retail pharmacy experience (inpatient pharmacy experience desired)
Required License: Maintains current pharmacy technician registration or pharmacy intern license. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician for registered pharmacy technicians through PTCB.
Work Schedule: Full-Time. Schedule may vary according to the needs of the facility/department and may include weekend, evening shift, holiday, on-call, and additional hours.
