Job Summary:

Responsible for the review, analysis, and follow up of  Incident reports.  Is an active participant in RCA processes.   Provides education, consultation and guidance regarding risk management issues and regulatory requirements.   Participates in policy development/review and various hospital committees.   Assists with the  implementation of risk identification and reduction strategies.  Works closely with other members of the Quality & Safety team.

 

 

Required Education: Associates Degree

 

Preferred Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing

 

Required License/Certification: Current CPHRM designation within 1 year of hire

 

Preferred License: Current North Carolina RN License

 

Required Experience: 5 years acute care hospital experience and/or 5 years physician practice Risk Management. Certified Professional Healthcare Risk Manager (CPHRM) with experience in acute care risk management or physician practice Risk Management.

 

Preferred Experience: Claims management, legal experience
