Overview
The Special Procedure Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures. Special Procedure Technologists are required to utilize sterile techniques, operate complex angiographic equipment, and assist physicians by scrubbing and circulating during procedures, as necessary, throughout the Mission Health system. Continuing education, learned skills and experience will be utilized. This position will function without constant supervision to produce superior quality of radiographic images. The technologist must respond appropriately for emergent procedures, such as Code Strokes, as determined by the on-call physician. The technologist must demonstrate independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Responsibility for designated areas and procedures is assumed.
This position is full-time, benefited, Day Shift with rotating call.
