Role Summary: The lead clinical pharmacist will provide innovative pharmacy services to Mission Health Partners patients to improve quality and reduce cost of healthcare, as well as supervise the work of pharmacy technicians and learners working on the Care Coordination team. Specifically, the clinical pharmacist will work with the MHP interprofessional team to optimize medication therapy and adherence and to support patients' appropriate use of healthcare. The clinical pharmacist shall serve as a resource for MHP providers and staff, including contributing to the development and implementation of pharmacy services.
Required Education: Doctor of Pharmacy
Preferred Education: None
Required License: NC Board of Pharmacy, BLS Certification.
Preferred License: Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner eligible, BCPS, or BCACP.
Required Experience: 3 years of clinical practice experience
Preferred Experience: PGY1 Residency with at least 3 years of clinical practice experience or PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency; demonstrated ability to achieve positive patient outcomes and possess strong interpersonal skills.
