Mission Hospital is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to support Mission's Behavioral Health Department, while providing service to the Trauma Program and other specialized service needs related to substance use disorders.
This PRN position provides coverage for high volumes, surges, and open shifts. A minimum of 7 years post graduate experience in mental health is required.
This position works under the direction of the Behavioral Health department, while providing service to the Trauma Program and other specialized service needs related to substance use disorders.
Respnsibilities include:
Required Education: Masters Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Ph.D. in Psychology or other equivalent degree in a recognized mental health field
Required License: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Ph.D Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, or other appropriate licensure as related to education. Must have State 1st Evaluation Credentialing and be a North Carolina Notary and be BLS certified.
Preferred License: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor with Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, or active progress towards Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist
Required Experience: A minimum of 7 years post graduate experience in mental health
Preferred Experience: Ten years post graduate experience in mental health with extensive experience in intake/assessment/triage positions. Two years experience in medical case management
