Role Summary: Responsible to lead the operational function of Linen throughout Mission Hospital. This includes the following functions for the Health System: Inventory Control, Utilization, and Linen Distribution. Insures that customer service levels are exceptional and continually directs improvements to linen distribution processes. Foster an environment of participation, teamwork, and professional growth among staff. Will lead improvement activities to insure Mission Health has a world-class linen distribution.

Required Education: High School Education

Preferred Education: Associates Degree

Required License: NC Driver's License

Preferred License: CDL Driver's License

Required Experience: Prior supervisory skill, 3 years in distribution or healthcare industry, knowledge of industrial laundry operations, computerized inventory control systems, customer service skills, distribution systems and routes, excellent verbal and communication skills, ability to make presentations to groups, ability to handle multiple priorities in a pressured-fast paced work environment.

Preferred Experience: 5 years in the laundry healthcare industry. Prior supervisory skill, 3 years in the laundry healthcare industry, knowledge of industrial laundry operations, computerized inventory control systems, customer service skills, distribution systems and routes, excellent verbal and communication skills, ability to make presentations to groups, ability to handle multiple priorities in a pressured-fast paced work environment. Knowledge of NCDOT regulations.
