This is a unique opportunity to work in a place you love and can apply your passions for pharmacy, community, and patients where you can truly make a difference.  The position is a part of a facility leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO of Highlands-Cashiers Hospital, while leading a pharmacist and two pharmacy techs.   Work where the team truly cares like family.   
Highlands-Cashiers Hospital  located in Highlands, NC has 24 beds for acute care services and 80 beds in the Eckerd Living Center where we offer long-term care services. 


Job Summary: Responsible for the operational, clinical and financial outcomes of the Pharmacy Department. Ensures regulatory compliance. Leads the pharmacy team to support services within an acute care hospital as well as an adjacent skilled nursing facility.


Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, or PharmD Degree.


Preferred Education: Master's Degree


Required License:
Pharmacist licensure with the NCBOP or eligible to become licensed in 60 days (or agreed upon timeline at the time of offer).

BCLS may be required for those leaders providing patient care


Required Experience: Three years of hospital technical and managerial experience in Pharmacy. Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, Internet and Intranet software, e-mail.


Preferred Experience: Database software
