JOB SUMMARY: The Practice Manager provides oversight of a clinic with 6 or more providers and could include ancillary services. Promotes achievement of department goals and objectives by supervising office support staff and clinical support staff (in partnership with clinical leadership) and coordinating daily operations. Supports operations of department or clinic by ensuring organized and efficient administrative operations and managing the department budget. The Practice Manager functions as a resource person to the staff and health professionals within the clinic and ensures that established protocols are followed and that staff members provide quality care to patients and their caregivers. In addition, the Practice Manager will ensure front office and non-clinical procedures achieve practice standards. Provides consistent and clear communications with staff, patients and practice staff. Must present a high level of professionalism and respect as a representative of Mission Health. Specific job duties will vary based on the clinic served.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Associates Degree and/or relevant work experience of at least 10 years in a management role in lieu of education.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 2 years of experience in a medical practice including experience with billing, medical records and patient scheduling, with a minimum of one year experience supervising staff in a medical practice environment.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 3 years of experience in a medical practice with a minimum of one year of office management and supervisory experience.
