Mission Health in Asheville, NC is looking for a Manager - System Financial Reporting to join the team!
Job Summary: The Manager - System Financial Reporting for Mission Health System is responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring an efficient and responsive general accounting process through appropriate staffing, performance management, and process optimization. This position reports to the Executive Director and directly supervises various levels of Finance staff responsible for financial reporting. Lead the monthly financial reporting process, and would assist with oversight of the annual Health System audit. Oversee other advanced accounting functions, develop accounting policies as needed, and is expected to participate on cross-functional teams and serve as project leader on assigned projects.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Health Administration or related field.
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Finance, MBA or MHA
Preferred License: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Required Experience: Six years of recent accounting, financial reporting, analysis financial statement preparation or external audit experience or three years of public accounting audit experience. Three years in recent managerial or supervisory experience.
Preferred Experience: Ten years of recent financial reporting, accounting, analysis, financial statement preparation, or external audit coordination experience in Healthcare finance.
