Mission Health boasts a progressive, innovative and highly advanced EMS system that encompasses three county-based 911 EMS units, an in-house Air Medical team, robust and growing Regional Transport Services, Behavioral Transport Services, Telecommunications, Regional Disaster Preparedness and Disaster Relief in addition to six Emergency Departments serving 19 counties in Western North Carolina. We partner with AB-Tech to host the UMBC EMTPCC program as well as provide various pathways to leadership development and educational opportunities for our EMS staff!

Job Summary: Receives ground and air ambulance transport requests, coordinates the appropriate mode of transport and communicates pertinent information accordingly.
Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Basic computer and keyboard skills required. Knowledgeable in medical terminology.
Preferred Education: Same as required.
Required License: None
Preferred License: None
Required Experience: Two years medical background or communications experience.
Preferred Experience: dispatch experience, EMT, Emergency Serivices Telecommunications experience
