The Provider Relations Representative is a rewarding and challenging position that requires exceptional attention to detail and a wide-breadth of interpersonal and technical skills. This position is the focal point for communication and responsiveness that contributes to the success of Mission Health Partners.


Mission Health Partners is the largest clinically integrated Accountable Care Organization in North Carolina covering 20 counties, four health systems, and over 1,100 physicians.

Be the Face of MHP to providers and practices.

  1. Develop relationships and respond to needs and questions.
  2. Communicate – well-timed, clear & accurate, focused, and genuine.
  3. Provide and shape quality education and reporting, with a close link to quality liaison.
  4. Track everything.

Work with practices to ensure their success in quality achievement and reporting. This requires an understanding of:

  1. HEDIS and star quality measures.
  2. Practice flow and use of electronic medical records.
  3. Provider onboarding, rosters, and attribution.

Initiate and ensure compliance and contracting for practices and providers.

  1. Develop and provide compliance training and support.
  2. Maintain completion of contracting and other documents.


Required Education: Bachelor's degree +1 year directly related experience, Associate's degree + 3 years directly related experience OR 5 years directly related experience.


Required Experience:

  • Minimum one year, three years, or five years experience, as commensurate with education, as outlined above.
  • Significant experience in physician practice management and/or quality reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and database management.
  • Excellent writing skills as evidenced in cover letter,
  • Sense of urgency and collaboration.
  • Must demonstrate excellent problem solving skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be organized and have excellent time management capabilities.
  • Must also demonstrate the ability to analyze data to identify trends and variance from goals.
