Eligible for a $5k Bonus for all offers accepted by 04/30/2020 with a 2yr commitment to the system.

Asheville Specialty Hospital (ASH) is the only accredited long-term acute care hospital in the western North Carolina region. ASH is an independent affiliate of Mission Health, housing 34 licensed beds and an attending medical staff of two physicians and two nurse practitioners’ who communicate and plan medical treatment with your physician.
ASH has two levels of patient care within the hospital. Progressive Care is step-down level patients with nurse:patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5 and may include patients with: cardiac, pulmonary, neuro, complex-wound care, and/or renal needs; these patients may be on telemetry or have a stable tracheostomy.
In the High-Obs area, we care for critically ill patients with nurse:patient ratios of 1:3. These patients may be on a ventilator with tracheostomy or titratable infusions.
Our nursing team includes both nurses and CNAs, who work in strong collaboration with our Respiratory, Rehab, and Wound Teams.
As a Registered Nurse with ASH, you will plan and implement care for patients in accordance with the medical and nursing plans of care and established policies and procedures. You will also provide leadership to supervised personnel, which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort, safety, and well-being of our patients.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS License: Current license as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina, or an associated compact state.
Current BLS: Red Cross or American Heart Association.
Experience: None required
Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing
License: ACLS (American Heart Association) within 6 months of hire if not already obtained
