Learning Experiences

Learning experiences include:

  • Providing direct patient care in an anticoagulation clinic (telehealth and face-to-face), heart failure clinic, transitions in care service line, accountable care organization and medication assistance program
  • Developing and expanding telehealth services for patients in a variety of clinics within the health system
  • Implementing use of data analytics for determining risk and designing interventions for patients in both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy transition of care programs and Mission Health Partners ACO
  • Integrating pharmacy services with medical services in an ACO
  • Teaching fourth-year pharmacy students, PGY1 residents and other pharmacists about the role of pharmacy in rural population health management at Mission and at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy
