Learning Experiences

Learning experiences include:

  • Providing direct patient care in an anticoagulation clinic, heart failure clinic, transitions in care service line, accountable care organization, primary care clinic, and medication assistance program
  • Developing and expanding clinical pharmacy services for patients in a variety of clinics within the health system
  • Implementing use of data analytics for determining risk and designing interventions for patients in both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy transition of care programs and Mission Health Partners ACO
  • Integrating pharmacy services with medical services in an accountable care organization (ACO)
  • Teaching pharmacy 4th year pharmacy students, PGY1 residents, and other pharmacists about the role of pharmacy in rural population health management at Mission and at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy
